Compelling content sells; carefully selecting a few targeted keywords is a far more effective strategy for website optimization than selecting an array of keywords that are barely relevant to your business. Search engine optimization requires that you not only select the right keywords and phrases but also imbed them in clear, engaging copy that your sites visitors will find useful. To be successful with your SEO implementation, make sure that your website optimization efforts do not result solely in pages filled with keywords, it needs to be valuable information. Your optimized website content needs to attract users and search engines by providing compelling, natural dialogue that is informative and interesting while also rich in the targeted keywords for your business. Tip: If you wouldn’t want to read the content within your website, chances are that neither will your sites visitors. Give visitors a reason to remain on your site & re-visit often. If you are suffering from writers block, consider hiring a ghost writer or a marketing professional. Make sure that you hire a writer that writes for the web to ensure that your content reads well to both the human eye & the search engine spiders. Be sure to ask the right questions, & don’t lead the question. Ask; what types of writing do you specialize in? Vs. Do you write for the web? In the latter example, the answer will always be yes, because they want the job, even if they are not experienced in writing optimized content. Also, You don’t want to hire a writer that uses other websites content, this can cause your site not to be indexed by the search engines because of duplicate content.
